Hey, I’m Indy! The guy behind the lens and the heart behind Avoda Studios. If I had to sum myself up in a sentence, I love adventure, avoid algebra and somehow turned that into a creative career I’m proud of. The outdoors is my reset button and storytelling is what I was made for. Creativity and vision have always been my thing, and they’ve carried me all the way here.

I started in the creative industry years ago as a runner on set. Grabbing coffees, holding boom mics and doing my best to stay out of frame. Starting from the bottom gave me a front-row seat to how storytelling comes together and pushed me to learn, grow and say yes to every opportunity. Not long after, I stepped into the world of weddings as a second shooter, and something just clicked. It gave me clarity on the kind of creative I wanted to be.

These days, I’m behind the lens full-time, doing what I love most! Capturing people in their element, in moments that matter most!

It’s pretty simple for me! Everything I do comes back to my faith and my family. From day one, I’ve wanted to build something that gives my wife and future kids a life full of freedom, joy and purpose.This business wouldn’t exist without my faith. I’m a big believer that I don’t do this creative work with my own strength. And when freelance life gets tough (as it does) I always come back to my why. It’s what keeps me grounded, motivated and hungry to keep growing, keep creating and keep building something bigger than myself!
