Rain is one of the few things we can't control on a wedding day and honestly, it rarely matters as much as couples fear. As your day approaches, I'll keep a close eye on the forecast and check in if conditions are shifting. If rain arrives, we adapt and work with it rather than against it.

Travel within three hours of Sydney is included in all standard collections. No hidden fees, no unexpected add-ons.

Weddings beyond that distance fall under my Escape collection, where travel and accommodation are built into your quote from the start. Transparency around costs is something I take seriously, so you'll always know exactly what's included before signing anything.

A lot of destination couples choose to accommodate me on location, whether that's a guest suite, spare villa or a room at the venue. It keeps things uncomplicated and means I'm there from the first moment to the last. We'll sort all of that out together early in the process.

I like my couples to know exactly when their gallery is landing, so you can plan for it properly. That's why every collection comes with a clear timeline. Within 2 to 3 business days, you'll have a sneak peek gallery of 10 to 20 images to share with family and friends while it's all still fresh. Your full gallery arrives 7 weeks after your wedding date, with your 35mm film developed and uploaded alongside it.

Many couples set aside a date night for opening their gallery together. I'd encourage you to do the same.

When you book Avoda Studios, you're booking me. I'm behind every email, every conversation and every photo on your day. I do have a team of associate photographers available for dates where I'm already booked, but that is always communicated openly and only ever offered to couples who are keen on the Avoda Studios experience regardless. No surprises, ever.

Honestly, most of my couples say this before their wedding and forget about the camera within the first hour. The way I work puts your experience first. I bring a speaker and a curated playlist to set the atmosphere, I'll guide you with enough direction to feel confident, and when the moments start flowing on their own I know to get out of the way. You don't need to be a 'photo person.' You just need to be present, and I'll take care of the rest.
