Wedding planning can feel overwhelming. There are timelines to build, decisions to make and a lot of voices offering opinions. But it doesn't have to be complicated. The right team makes a significant difference, and when your vendors are experienced, organised and genuinely invested in your day, the whole process becomes lighter.

My role goes beyond turning up with a camera. I'm here to guide where needed, offer perspective and help you think through the flow of the day so you're not carrying it alone. This page is designed to give you clarity around how I work, what's included and how your wedding will be photographed with care and intention.

The Signature

The Signature is the most complete way to work with me. It covers the full arc of the day, from the quiet of the morning through to the last song of the night, and it is the only collection that includes 35mm film alongside your digital gallery. Two rolls shot on film. Every frame considered, limited and irreplaceable. The result is two bodies of work that feel entirely different and belong together perfectly. For couples who want the day documented at its fullest and most considered.

The Escape

Some couples know what they want and they go and get it. The Escape collection is for you.

Designed for destination weddings, whether that is a vineyard in Tuscany, a chateau in France, or a coastal estate somewhere on the other side of the world, this is the most considered offering I have. Every detail of your collection is built around your specific wedding, so nothing is off the shelf and nothing is rushed. Multi-day coverage, travel, full creative investment. All of it!

The Promise collection was made for days like that. Specifically, it is my elopement collection. Ceremony coverage and portraits after, held with the same care I bring to every wedding I am a part of.

Feeling a bit extra

  • 35mm Film

    Very Popular | $300


    There's something about 35mm film that just feels different. The tones are richer. The light behaves in ways that digital can't quite replicate. And because each roll only holds so many frames, every single one is made with intention.

    This add on includes two rolls of 35mm film, typically producing 30 to 40 images. Each roll is processed and developed at a professional lab in Melbourne. The scans are then hand-selected and woven into your final gallery, sitting naturally alongside your digital collection.

  • Second Photographer

    Mandatory for weddings over 120 guests | $600 (5 Hours Coverage)

    Some weddings ask more of a photographer. More guests, more moving parts, more happening at once. For those days, I bring someone in.

    A secondary photographer joins the team for up to five hours, working through the most dynamic part of the day leading into and through the ceremony. Two perspectives, working in sync, without doubling the presence or changing the feel.

    For weddings of 100 guests or more, I recommend this as part of your coverage. For weddings of 120 or more, it becomes part of your booking as standard.

    The photographers I work with are people I trust completely. Same values, same instincts, same standard of work. I'm selective about who I bring in because the Avoda Studios experience doesn't change based on guest count. It just gets stronger.

  • Engagement Collection

    Limited Availability | $750

    Wedding planning moves fast. An engagement session is a reason to slow down before it does.

    It's a chance to visit a location you've been excited about, walk away with beautiful images for your save the dates and invitations, and get a real feel for how I work before your wedding day. Every couple receives their own private gallery.

    This is also where the Avoda Studios experience begins. Sessions are based on availability and I'd recommend getting in early.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I put everything into photography and nothing else. One craft, done with full intention. While I don't offer videography, I do work closely with a small circle of filmmakers I trust and I'm glad to recommend someone whose vision fits yours. The goal is always a day that feels cohesive from start to finish.

  • My collections are built around the structure of your day, not a strict hourly limit. During our pre-wedding meeting, we'll map out your timeline together and work backwards from the final key moment, whether that's a last dance, cake cut or sparkler exit. Coverage wraps when the day feels complete, not when a timer goes off.

    As a general guide:

    The Signature | Approximately 9 to 10 hours

    The Classic | Approximately 5 to 6 hours

    The Promise | Approximately 2 hours

    If additional coverage makes sense for your day, we'll agree on that well ahead of time. Everything is worked out in advance so you know exactly what to expect.

  • Yes! My booking system accepts secure credit card payments and it's a popular choice. Many couples use it deliberately to rack up points on their wedding spend, putting them toward flights or a honeymoon upgrade. Worth keeping in mind as you plan across your vendors.

  • Every collection includes a sneak peek gallery of 30 to 40 highlight images, delivered within 2 to 3 business days. It's something to share with the people you love while everything still feels close. Your full gallery is then delivered within 6 to 8 weeks, carefully edited and ready to keep forever.

  • This is one of the most common things I hear, and it never shows in the photos. I keep the atmosphere relaxed, with gentle direction where it helps and space where it doesn't. Good music, easy conversation and no pressure. Most couples are surprised by how natural it feels.

  • Rain is one of the few things we can't control on a wedding day and honestly, it rarely matters as much as couples fear. As your day approaches, I'll keep a close eye on the forecast and check in if conditions are shifting. If rain arrives, we adapt and work with it rather than against it.

    Some of my favourite work has come from wet weather days. The light softens, the pace slows and there's an intimacy to those moments that a clear blue sky simply can't replicate.

  • For weddings over 100 guests, a second photographer is something I strongly recommend. Over 120, it becomes part of how I work.

    A larger wedding has a lot of layers moving at once. Conversations, reactions, the groom's face as she walks in, the guests wiping their eyes at the back. One photographer can only be in one place. Two means nothing important gets missed, timelines stay relaxed and the final gallery reflects the full picture of the day.

    Everyone I work with alongside me shares the same standard and approach. The goal is always seamless coverage, not a crowded room.

  • If your date needs to move, just reach out as early as you can. If I'm available on the new date, your booking transfers across without any fuss. I'll update your contract and timeline so everything reflects the change.

    If I'm already committed on the new date, we can look at whether my associate photographer is a good fit, or I can point you toward someone I trust. Either way, you won't be left without support.

    Life shifts and plans change. Clear communication early just makes everything easier for everyone.

  • Travel within three hours of Sydney is included in all standard collections. No hidden fees, no unexpected add-ons.

    Weddings beyond that distance fall under my Escape collection, where travel and accommodation are built into your quote from the start. Transparency around costs is something I take seriously, so you'll always know exactly what's included before signing anything.

    A lot of destination couples choose to accommodate me on location, whether that's a guest suite, spare villa or a room at the venue. It keeps things uncomplicated and means I'm there from the first moment to the last. We'll sort all of that out together early in the process.
